About the role:
Atmosphere is looking for an Sr. Director, National Agency Lead to join our National Ad Sales team in its New York office. This position will focus on selling video advertising opportunities across Atmosphere TV, by spearheading our partnerships across Omnicon,, and managing a team BrandDirectors.  

The ideal candidate embraces the balance of a player-coach role, and possessing strong skillset in leadership, strategy and sales acumen;  including a proven track record of successful sales and media partnership growth in video, strong agency professional relationships, and a self-starter who effectively builds relationships through in person & virtual meetings, phone calls, and industry events. 

This position is a hybrid in-office/remote role  based in NYC and will report to the VP of National Sales - East.

Key Responsibilities

Agency Partnership & Revenue Growth

  • Drive the top-down relationship across Omincom and its agencies to drive advocacy and scalable engagement.
  • Develop and lead Atmosphere TV’s partnership strategy within Omnicom, executing a long-term GTM and partnership strategy that drives adoption, account expansion, and revenue growth.
  • Successfully grow current key accounts and drive new advertiser investment
  • Communicate Atmosphere’s unique offer to client, agency, and programmatic teams across accounts within key agencies. Educating buy teams on the benefits of investing video, digital, and DOOH budgets across our platform.
  • Deliver compelling, insight-driven business cases and partnership opportunities to senior-level agency stakeholders across Investment, Programmatic, Analytics, and Product teams within key accounts.
  • Identify and pursue larger joint business and Upfront partnerships with Atmosphere and its partners, that delivers mutual value (i.e. Apex, etc.)
  • Participate, manage, and present at industry events, driving Atmosphere value proposition and exposure with existing and new clients.

Account & Team Oversight

  • Lead agency planning, forecasting, and opportunity development across key accounts and centralized teams.
  • Manage a direct report(s) focused on specific accounts, providing coaching, support, and strategic guidance. Track KPIs and sales performance, ensure a healthy sales pipeline is maintained and forecasted accurately, while also meeting or exceeding sales targets and deadlines.
  • Define and execute strategic initiatives to deepen client investment and alignment with Atmosphere’s video and measurement solutions.
  • Ensure proper mapping and activation across client and agency brands, coordinating with larger sales teams to unlock demand.
  • Collaborate with sellers in other markets tied to Hold Co success, to maximize revenue potential.
  • Work closely with internal Sales, Product, Marketing, Programmatic, Account Management, and Research teams to develop bespoke solutions and address client needs.
  • Influence product roadmap by surfacing needs and insights gathered from agency teams.

Performance Management

  • Monitor, analyze, and report on agency performance, campaign impact, and spend trends.
  • Optimize strategies based on data insights and ensure partners have the tools and information needed to drive results.
  • Conduct regular business reviews to assess KPIs, evolve partnership models, and reinforce Atmosphere’s value.
  • Communicate progress internally to senior leadership and provide visibility into account health and revenue impact.
 

Qualifications

  • 8+ years experience successfully selling digital and video media to National brands and Agencies, with 2+ years managing high performance sales teams.
  • Professional network of relationships with Agency and Brand decision makers which you can use to immediately bring value to Atmosphere
  • Organization and communication skills necessary to handle large volume of opportunities
  • Strong background in Digital, Video, and/or DOOT at a challenger media brand
  • Passionate about building relationships both internally and externally
  • Exceptional presenter with excellent negotiation skills
  • Coachable, resilient, and determined. Looks for the learning in a failure as much as success

  • Knows how to identify a need and close business based on delivering outcomes

The base salary for this position is $190,000 + Commission. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skills, experience, and qualification for the role. In addition, this position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance.
