About the role:

Atmosphere is looking for a self-disciplined and dynamic production leader to grow the partner channel content team at Atmosphere.  Candidates must have strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to become agile in a fast moving environment. Candidates must have previous production studio experience leading a team and have a strong knowledge of video production workflow. Must be a manager who cares and respects their team, and works to find a healthy balance between the stresses of the video production environment and the physical and mental demands of personal lives.

This role will be based in Austin, Texas at our HQ office, and will report directly to the Sr. Director of Content.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creation and production of Atmosphere partner channels
  • Manage editors, segment production and execution
  • Spearhead partner channel creation, including programming strategy and workflow
  • Create and enforce content programming SOPs 
  • Hire, lead and help develop editorial staff members for growth, positioning them for new opportunities as the network evolves
  • Set the programming strategy to capture and retain viewers while entertaining them in creative ways through innovative content
  • Create cooperative partnerships with departments across Atmosphere that support audience growth and brand consistency
  • Work with technical teams to develop consistent updates to systems and workflows to ensure quality control standards are met and surpassed
  • Perform other duties as needed

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of professional producer experience in a video production environment
  • 1-3+ years of people leadership experience
  • BS/BA in RTF, communication or related field
  • Proactive work ethic under deadline pressure
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure
  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast paced startup environment (can move between 30,000 feet to 3 feet with ease)
  • Strong video editing skills and background
  • Experience with Adobe Suite: Premiere and After Effects. 
  • Efficiency with Google Suite, ability to learn proprietary software and workflows
  • Proven leadership skill and charisma to build consensus and relationships with colleagues
  • Proven ability to have hard conversations with tact and care
