About the Role:
Atmosphere is seeking a highly creative and experienced Sports Producer to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will support the curation, writing, and production of video content for our Sports channel, bringing strong editorial instincts, broad sports knowledge, and hands-on production skills to a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
This part-time position requires a minimum of 20 hours per week and up to 29 hours per week, with a flexible, sports-driven schedule that varies throughout the season. Typical workdays fall between Thursday and Sunday, with occasional shifts extending into Monday based on business and advertising needs. Candidates must be available for weekend and evening hours. The role reports to the Supervising Producer, Sports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce, curate, and edit sports video and graphic content with editorial accuracy and in a timely manner
- Monitor sports news, highlights, and cultural moments to deliver timely and engaging programming
- Collaborate with the content team on ideation, creative direction, and execution
- Support special projects and ensure delivery consistently meets editorial and brand standards
- Maintain editorial accuracy and journalistic integrity across all content
- Adhere to Atmosphere Sports’ Standard Operating Procedures
- Assist with afternoon and evening programming and ad sales initiatives
Requirements:
- 2+ years of professional experience in sports content production (digital, social, or TV)
- Strong editorial judgment with a proven ability to produce compelling sports content
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects)
- Deep knowledge of and genuine passion for sports
- Ability to manage projects from concept to delivery under tight deadlines
- Strong organizational, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Proactive, solutions-focused approach to work
Compensation:
- $26.00 - $31.00 per hour based on experience
