About the role:
Atmosphere is looking for a Director of Programmatic Partnerships to join our National Ad Sales team in its New York office. This position will focus on selling programmatic access targeting TV, OTT, CTV & DOOH advertising opportunities across our network of 60,000+ venues across the US.
We are adding to our Programmatic team with a new role in the New York market. You are someone with a proven track record and understanding of the programmatic media landscape, a self-starter who effectively builds relationships through in person & virtual meetings, phone calls, and industry events.
This position will be based in NYC and will report to the Head of Programmatic Partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute strategic programmatic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Manage and grow existing programmatic partnerships while identifying and cultivating new opportunities.
- Utilize a data-driven approach to analyze performance, identify trends, and optimize campaigns across various inventory ad formats, devices, and screens.
- Drive revenue growth through Private Marketplace (PMP) and Programmatic Guaranteed (PG) deals.
- Provide expert consultation to clients and agencies on programmatic strategies and best practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams (ad operations, product, marketing) to ensure seamless campaign execution and delivery.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients and stakeholders.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the evolving programmatic landscape, including CTV, Linear, and Digital advertising.
- Manage a large book of business across a variety of clients and agency accounts.
- Independently lead projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and successful outcomes.
- Utilize Salesforce, Excel, and PowerPoint to manage accounts, analyze data, and create presentations.
- Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in programmatic sales or strategy at a premium ad-tech publisher, DSP, SSP, or agency.
- Proven track record of earning, retaining, and growing revenue across various inventory ad formats, devices, and screens, as well as buying models (PMP, PG).
- Strong understanding of SSPs, DSPs, and the broader programmatic ecosystem.
- Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and communication skills.
- Highly analytical, strategic thinker, and problem solver with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to take a data-driven and consultative approach to maximizing revenue.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- High degree of drive and self-motivation.
- Self-starter, comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing environment.
- Pragmatic and able to balance short and long-term needs.
- Team player with the ability to communicate and translate technical concepts clearly and concisely.
- Comfortable supporting a large book of business across a wide variety of clients and agency accounts.

- Ability to work independently with internal and external teams to make decisions and maintain forward momentum.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong understanding of Programmatic and it’s role across CTV, Linear and Digital advertising.

The base salary range for this position is $140,000 - $180,000 + Commission. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skills, experience, and qualification for the role. In addition, this position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance.
