About the Role:
We’re seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Key Account Manager to join our dynamic team in Chicago, with a dedicated experience in the On-Premise Beer, Wine, and Spirits (BWS) channel. In this role, you will be responsible for leveraging your established knowledge and network to sign up new, high-value bars, restaurants, and nightlife accounts to Atmosphere's streaming service. You will ensure that existing on-premise customers are fully utilizing the platform to enhance their business, driving both new customer acquisition and retention within this critical vertical.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage on-premise experience to identify, engage, and secure strategic new bars, restaurants, and high-volume venues to join Atmosphere TV’s growing network of partners. This includes utilizing a highly curated list of valuable targets familiar with the distribution world.
- Develop and maintain strong, authentic relationships with bar/restaurant owners, managers, and decision-makers, speaking the language of the on-premise world to promote Atmosphere TV as an essential business tool. Turn targeted prospects into advocates & superfans of Atmosphere TV, incentivizing them to collaborate with us on campaign executions, sampling, & deep integration into their concept.
- Work closely with high-value existing on-premise customers to ensure they are actively using the service and optimizing it to meet their needs, offering technical support, and identifying opportunities for additional value.
- Stay on top of local market trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities within the Chicago on-premise hospitality and BWS industries.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly goals for new customer sign-ups, account retention, and revenue growth.
- Provide onboarding assistance, training, and ongoing support to customers to ensure a seamless Atmosphere TV experience.
- Partner with marketing, product, and customer support teams to deliver the best possible experience for customers and identify new features or improvements based on client feedback.
- Track and report sales activity, pipeline development, and customer engagement metrics using the company’s CRM and other tools.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred, but not required.
- Proven experience in sales or account management within the On-Premise Beer, Wine, Spirits, Technology, or CPG distribution sectors.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently while managing a territory.
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and ability to use data to drive decision-making.
- Ability to develop long-lasting professional relationships with a wide variety of clients.
- Familiarity with the bar and restaurant scene in Chicago is a plus.
- Willingness to travel within the Chicago territory and attend in-person meetings with clients.
- Entrepreneurial mind-set with the ability to create and manage a book of business.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary $70,000 per year
- On-target earnings $90,000 per year
