Workplace Experience Manager

Summary
We are seeking a driven and passionate Workplace Experience Manager to join Atmosphere’s HR team. This role will be responsible for cultivating a vibrant and productive workplace experience at Atmosphere TV, primarily focused on the Austin location, but with supporting responsibilities for the NYC, Chicago, and London offices, as well as our remote employees. This role balances facilities management with fostering a positive and engaging environment for employees and visitors, including proactive vendor and subtenant relationship management. The ideal candidate can design programs suitable for both in-person and remote experiences, seamlessly ensuring engagement across a hybrid workforce.
This role will report directly to the VP, Human Resources, and will require in-office presence 5 days a week in our South Austin office. 

 

Responsibilities:

Workplace Experience & Culture

  • Develop and implement programs and initiatives to enhance employee engagement, morale, and productivity across multiple office locations (Austin, NYC, Chicago, London), and for remote employees.
  • Plan and coordinate office events, social activities, and team-building initiatives across various locations and for remote staff.
  • Manage internal communications related to workplace experience for all offices and remote staff.
  • Gather employee feedback from all locations and remote employees, and implement improvements to the workplace experience.

Vendor Management

  • Identify, negotiate, and manage contracts with vendors for services impacting the workplace experience (e.g., catering, snacks, wellness programs, events) across multiple locations.
  • Oversee vendor performance related to workplace experience and address issues promptly for all impacted areas.
  • Collaborate with facilities vendors to ensure alignment with workplace experience goals company-wide.

Subtenant Relationship Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for subtenants in the Austin office.
  • Address subtenant needs and concerns as required.

Facilities Support

  • Oversee the basic functioning of the Austin office space to ensure a comfortable and safe environment.
  • Coordinate with external facilities vendors for maintenance, repairs, and supplies for the Austin office.
  • Manage office supply inventory and procurement for the Austin office.

Remote Employee Program Development

  • Develop and support programs designed to engage and connect remote employees with the company culture and with each other.

Budgeting and Reporting

  • Contribute to the development and management of the workplace experience budget, including allocations for various locations and remote programs.
  • Track expenses and provide reports on workplace experience initiatives across all areas of responsibility.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in workplace experience management, employee engagement, or a related field.
  • Multi-location or remote team experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships, potentially across multiple locations.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement creative workplace initiatives for diverse groups of employees.

Location:
Austin, TX (with responsibilities supporting NYC, Chicago, London, remote employees).
Travel to satellite offices, particularly NYC, is expected approximately 1-3 times per year.
