GTM Engineer (Go-to-Market Systems & Automations)

(Austin, TX)

About Atmosphere:

Atmosphere is the leading streaming TV platform built specifically for businesses. Unlike ad networks or signage companies, Atmosphere is the only true TV company whose first priority is to entertain television audiences outside of the home. Our content is designed to be fun, engaging, and worth watching, transforming waiting rooms, gyms, bars, and restaurants into better experiences for customers and better businesses for owners.

We are the first and only company to think about both the business owner and their customers when creating TV content. With 60,000+ venues and a global audience of over 150 million monthly viewers, Atmosphere is redefining what TV means outside the living room.

About the Role:

We’re seeking a GTM Engineer (Go-to-Market Engineer) who blends strong technical execution with practical sales and marketing intuition to help scale Atmosphere’s global expansion across bars, restaurants, gyms, airports, and other commercial venues. This is a hybrid role at the intersection of sales, marketing, and product, with a strong emphasis on hands-on engineering ownership of the systems and automations that power our go-to-market motion. You’ll design and build the systems, automations, and AI-powered workflows that power our business acquisition engine, serving as the technical architect behind how venues are identified, onboarded, and activated at scale. Your work will directly shape how efficiently and effectively Atmosphere gets into more businesses around the world.

This position will report to the SVP, Platform Sales & Marketing, and is on-site in Austin, TX. Availability to be in-office 4 days a week is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engineer scalable growth solutions by building integrations, automations, and tools that streamline venue acquisition, onboarding & customer support for bars, restaurants, gyms, airports, and other commercial locations.
  • Leverage AI coding agents and modern development tools to rapidly prototype and deploy go-to-market experiments.
  • Analyze complex data sets to identify growth opportunities and build dashboards that drive decision-making.
  • Build and scale cold email systems for venue outreach, leveraging automation tools to reach bars, restaurants, gyms, and airports globally.
  • Design and implement A/B tests, attribution models, and performance tracking systems.
  • Build custom tools and workflows that enhance team productivity and campaign effectiveness.
  • Create technical solutions for global market expansion, venue onboarding automation, and business retention initiatives across diverse commercial environments.
  • Collaborate across departments to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Drive data-driven experimentation to optimize venue acquisition funnels and reduce the cost of onboarding new business locations worldwide.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Engineering, Computer Science, Data, or a related technical field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in engineering, data analysis, or technical roles with proficiency in Python, SQL, JavaScript, or similar languages.
  • Experience in sales operations, marketing operations, revenue operations, or growth roles with a track record of driving measurable results.
  • Comfortable using AI coding assistants and modern development tools to rapidly build and iterate on solutions.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, lead generation, attribution, and conversion optimization.
  • Experience integrating CRM, marketing automation, analytics, and other GTM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Segment, etc.).
  • Ability to analyze complex datasets, build reports, and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Self-starter with the drive to identify opportunities and execute solutions independently.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience with streaming media, AdTech, or B2B SaaS platforms.
  • Familiarity with cold email platforms (Instantly, etc), lead enrichment tools (Clay, etc), and CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Background in product marketing or technical product management.
  • Familiarity with modern web technologies and APIs.
  • Experience building internal tools or customer-facing applications.
  • Knowledge of machine learning or predictive analytics.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary
  • Company Equity
  • Company 401(k) with employer matching
  • Competitive insurance plans
  • Flexible Time Off Policy

Our Commitment to Diversity:

Don’t meet every single requirement? Research shows that women and underrepresented groups often hesitate to apply unless they meet all the criteria. At Atmosphere, we’re committed to building a diverse, inclusive team where creativity, innovation, and teamwork thrive. If you're excited about this role but your experience doesn’t perfectly align with every qualification, we still encourage you to apply—you might be the right fit for this or another role.
